No surprise that the Taliban would take over the minute we pulled out.
This is the brain dead Afgan Army who don’t care about Afghanistan, even the word “Afghanistan” itself isn’t even recognised in any of their languages. All they care about is their own tribe and clan, they have no patriotism or allegiance to Afghanistan. Nomads who are not sophisticated or smart, it's a Stone Age culture, if you give them an iPad, they’d use it as a doorstop. At least a quarter of the general population is addicted to hard drugs, most of the Afgan Army is.
Mainstream media pushed very hard for the Afgan war in 2003. They constantly aired a woman in a burka being humiliated by the Taliban claiming she was being beaten, this was one of the primary justifications for the war.
America like the long list of other conquers of Afghanistan find the place not worth occupying. It has a lousy backward populace and lousy geography. In so many words, it's a shit hole.
There is sure to be a slaughter as the Taliban imposes it's rule. The mental gymnastics, spin and omissions by the media is the real story now.
What this makes even more clear is Biden has zero intention of running again.
