LINK DeSantis Hangs ’Florida Uses E-Verify’ Signs on Highways
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has hung signs on all the major interstate highways entering Florida informing everyone traveling by road into the state that the Sunshine State has implemented E-Verify, a background check system for employers to see if prospective hires are in fact legally authorized to work in the United States.

All those people who immigrated legally are waiting for their cases to be heard while the borders have been opened for illegals running in ahead of them.

I like it in theory. But in practical and honest terms it is empty posturing for the "conservative voting base" and good luck enforcing it.
If Florida or any of the other 49 States wanted to get rid of all the illegals working in their States they would effectively put every golf course, country club, restaurant, lawn maintenance service, hospitality services out of business.
Think about that for a minute. Hospitals, hotels, business offices, chuches, gov't offices...all suddenly find themselves buried under piles of trash and walking in halls and other spaces where the floors are dirty and cluttered and the toilets are filthy. - and so much more than can be listed or described here.
I wonder if the Governor has a housekeeper and a cook and a nanny...in his personal dwelling or in the State House.
Fact is Florida, and every other State and City is intractably dependent upon services that are being provided by what I will call "the invisible" work force. The Illegal aliens who are doing jobs that damned few if any White or Black American Citizens themselves are willing to do.
That is just the hard truth of the matter.
The solution to illegal immigration is to seal the northern and southern borders and to closely screen the flow of maritime and air traffic into and out of the CONUS and Alaska and Hawaii.
Seal the damn borders damn it! Force immigrants to apply for admittance and citizenship just as the immigration laws and infrastructure are perfectly designed to do.
