@parsifal I did read it. Nowhere did it ever mention Dr. Wilfred Reilly other than the photo and the misleading headline.

D’ya see how part of it is light blue? That means it’s a link. You do know what a link is, don’t you?

@JacksonNought Since it isn’t in quotation marks my guess is that it’s part of the reporting on his comments and not quoting him directly as was found at least a half dozen times further along in the article...or maybe it’s in the linked article you (coff) couldn’t find?
@parsifal the screenshot I posted is the entirety of the article your post links to. I followed the links "left-wing Black Lives Matter organization" and "Cato Institute survey", and Reilly's name isn't found anywhere. Where are you seeing the line you quoted? Do I need to be a member of the website or something to see the full article?

Following the numerous race riots of 2020, questions regarding racial discrimination and income inequality have wholly permeated the defining American spirit that is being played out in protests and anti-protests. No group has dominated this conversation more than the left-wing Black Lives Matter organization — a group with Marxist leaders forwarding many controversial ideas, such as the theory of “systemic racism.”
Many Americans are afraid to voice their political opinions when it comes to these sorts of emotionally-charged subjects, a fact supported by a Cato Institute survey from 2020. The inquiry confirmed that as many as 62 percent of Americans are afraid to voice their political opinions.
There is nothing beyond that.

@parsifal I figured it out. I have ad and tracking blockers, which prevented 90% of the article from loading. Not sure why they load all their content through third-parties, but oh well.
