Not true. It’s the people who engineered the fraud and their Kool-Aid drinking lackeys in Congress and the media who respond like that, because they have to. They have no choice. Their only hope to survive is to push this thing to the end game and pray they can wring a political result out of the courts.
It’s the actual participants—the volunteers; the low-level party functionaries; the people who swim their whole lives without reflection in the Democratic fishbowl who knew damn well they were breaking the law but never worried about it before because they always got away with it—they’re slowly hearing an alternate narrative filtering through the smog, with words like “armed agents,” “insurrection,” and “treason.” Their response is “OH SHIT!” These folks were promised a Thanksgiving Turkey by their ward boss. No one said anything about a prison cell.
