California for instance has made possession of stolen property under a thousand dollars not worth recording. This has made petty theft rampant but won't show up in any crime statistics. With murder there is generally a body and a bullet. Easy to count. Murders are up, that's indisputable.

I know you "feel like there's rising crime," but as a certain person once said, "facts don't care about your feelings." It's the actual statistics that matter--your risk of being a victim--not how fearful you feel.
Im a-ok here in pittsburgh. not scared at all... So, I have an honest question for you. I have a friend who is extremely liberal, and one day while he was debating me about covid he happened to have a tough arguing point, and said "but as a certain person once said, "facts don't care about your feelings."..
Which makes me feel like the liberal hivemind is real, and not just a nightmare, but my question actually is why do you all look for ways to spin the narrative back around on conservatives? and have you taken into consideration the crimes happening that do not get reported or get's overlooked because they are happening during protests? Like if you cut the budget for your police department, and they don't have anyone available to respond in time, or update their data then how could you tell by looking at a chart or what has been recorded? the statistics don't update themselves and graph it for everyone to see. I'm not saying that is a big contributing factor, but it could be.

I have no attachment to being "right" and appreciate people who let me know ive been misinformed. those words are powerless on me lol.
