Corollary to Missler's reasoning in the above video is this question of who the 24 Elders in the throne room of God really are. In Revelation 5:9-10, they tell us who they are.
"And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for Thou wast slain, and hast redeemed US to God by thy blood OUT OF EVERY KINDRED, AND TONGUE, AND PEOPLE, AND NATION; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth."
1.They are NOT Old Testament saints. They are REDEEMED by the blood of Christ, meaning, they are from the Church age.
2. There are only three which the bible says are both king and priest: Melchezedek, the Lord Himself, and the Church (1Pet 2:9; Rev 1:6). If you intercede for others, you are performing a priestly function.
3. The 24 are Gentiles, not Jews, and they are in heaven BEFORE Christ opens the seven seals of wrath. And they are priests and kings, coming from EVERY KINDRED, NATION, PEOPLE and TONGUE. Last I heard there are more than 24 nations, more than 24 kindred, more than 24 peoples and more than 24 tongues. And they're from every one of those.
So it is pretty obvious that the 24 Elders is a REPRESENTATION of the Church, already in heaven, before Christ opens the seven seals of the scrolls of wrath. Let us not say "they do not represent the Church" unless we can offer a more logical conclusion as to who the 24 Elders are or what they represent. To say they are the 12 Apostles plus the 12 tribes does not fit the bill either - the 24 Elders are Gentiles.
