When I first came across the passage bellow, that the Lord will be saving the Coptic Christians in Egypt (a Christian sect that is even older than the RCC) who will be crying out to Him, I made a decision that I will, from that point on, never judge believers from other churches (but 1John 2:22 still makes a world of difference). Some time after that, it dawned on me that the context wherein they would be saved will be during the Great Tribulation!
Not that this has eternal consequences, but does their being Amillennialist, rejecting or ignoring the promise made in 1Cor 15:52-54 and not putting their trust in Christ's "blessed hope", the Harpazo, that great evacuation of the called out ones from the coming wrath, have something to do with their being thrust into the Great Tribulation? Because the bible talks about a special reward for those who eagerly await His coming to "hide" away the called out ones from the wrath to come. Food for thought.
My wife asked if what is written in Isaiah 19 has not happened yet. I replied God has never rescued any Egyptians this way yet. I think the Copts will be fleeing to Giza, just as the Jews will be fleeing to Petra, when this terrible time comes.
