I'm not convinced that saints don't see tribulation but I like this guy. I listened to these last night and found them thought provoking.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Make a quick check on the Ezekiel passage which he says "Rosh, Mischech and Tubal" and you will see that "Rosh" cannot be found there. They usually insert "Rosh" in Ezekiel 38 and 39 to shoehorn their interpretation that Russia ("Rosh" in their view) is Magog. This "Russia is Magog" interpretation came to rise during the Cold War, as Russia was "the evil empire" back then. But if you check the older (Pre-WW2) bible dictionaries like Unger's, you will find that Magog was located at the Steps of Russia and not Russia itself. And what do you find at the Steps of Russia (sometimes called the Asian Steps)? You will find TURKIC nations such as Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and many others. The Turks, who used to be called the Scythians, are the descendants of Magog. Holding this view does not contradict Rev 17:10-11 where the 7th empire "which had not yet come" as of John's writing that plucked out the 6th (the Roman empire which was in power when John wrote the last book of the bible). People forget that the empire which plucked off the Eastern leg of the Roman empire - the Byzantine empire - was the OTTOMAN empire (the 7th in Rev 17:10-11). It was wounded by the British and the French in 1924, and will soon be revived as the 8th, just as Rev 17:10-11 prophesies. Which is what the jihadists are working hard to do - revive the Caliphate.
