God's Two Prophetic Clocks

I look at Hosea 6:1-2 the same way a lot of prophecy students now look at Daniel 9:25 in hindsight - as a prophetic clock from God. The latter terminated at April. 6, 32AD at the Lord's Triumphal Entry after 69 weeks of years or 173,880 days from the pronouncement of Ataxerxes on March 14, 445BC allowing the Jews in Babylon to go home and rebuild Jerusalem.

That was one jaw-dropping PRECISION prophecy that got fulfilled TO THE DAY. Had the rabbis of that day figured this out, they could have just manned the gates of the Holy City to see who would drop in on a donkey's foal (Zachariah 9:9). Sadly, the Jewish sages and rabbis of those days FAILED to figure out the Daniel 9:25 prophecy. The Jewish Messiah held them ACCOUNTABLE for not knowing the day of His visitation.

Luke 19:41-44
"And when He was come near, He beheld the city, and wept over it, Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, AT LEAST IN THIS THY DAY, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are HID from thine eyes. For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; BECAUSE THOU KNEWEST NOT THE TIME OF THY VISITATION."

He came riding a donkey bringing SALVATION, just like Zachariah 9:9 prophesied He would, and not riding a white horse bringing political and military victory as the rabbis had been expecting. The white horse entrance will happen when He returns.

Rejecting the Jewish Messiah did not come without its two millennia-long chastisement resulting from His turning His face away from His people (Hosea 5:15), so the traumatic Sept. 6, 70AD temple destruction and the Diaspora happened. "Your house is left to you desolate". It was no longer "My Father's" house but "your" house. And the second clock?

Hosea 6:1-2
"Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for He hath torn, and He will heal us; He hath smitten, and He will bind us up. After TWO DAYS will He revive us: in the THIRD DAY He will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight."

Do you think the Holy Spirit put those "two days" in the verse for no reason, as mere literary decoration? The Hosea clock's "terminus a quo" (start date) would have to be the destruction of the temple - the "smiting" of Hosea 6:1-2 - on Sept. 6, 70AD. Two "days", two thousand Jewish years or 720,000 days later will terminate at the GREATEST RECONCILIATION ON PLANET EARTH, the "binding up" of the Jewish people's 2 millennia of afflictions - the reconciliation between the Lord and the remnant of Israel!!! Of course the Rapture, the 7-year false peace, and even the judgment of the nations (Armageddon) would already be water under the bridge by this date.

And when is this date, you ask? Let's have the Jewish sages and rabbis of today figure it out. Maybe they'll do the right thing this second time around. Stiff-necked, unrepentant and close-minded rabbis will be following the first rider on a white horse they meet who can deliver world peace, totally ignoring Micah 5:5 and Daniel 9:27 which says the fake messiah will be doing just that: provide a false global peace. There is a hint in Luke 17:34-37 that those who continue to reject the Jewish Messiah and expect the Pharasaical version will have a Philip-like Harpazo of location and taken to judgment - "where the bodies are, there the vultures will gather" - immediately prior to His return.

The Jewish people knowing this "second clock" would be able to avoid being deceived by the usurper who comes 7 years EARLIER, as this usurper is able to deliver a global peace (Daniel 9:27, Micah 5:5) which the stiff-necked rabbis see as a Messianic sign. The usurper will violate this peace after just 42 months because "the trees and the stones will cry out 'there is a Jew hiding behind me; come and behead him!'" it will be the worst time for the Jewish people ever. As well as for the world.

And what of the "third day" of Hosea 6:2? To be fair, let us have the Christian pastors and ministers of today figure this one out. Then they can backtrack 7 Jewish years to the start of the false peace after they figure out day 2 as well.

If there is one unsolicited advice that I could give the rabbis, it is to stop putting the Talmud on the same level of authority as the Old Testament, which is God-breathed. Study the Old Testament and let the Talmud gather dust. All of what is written in the Talmud regarding Yeshua is derogatory, and using it perpetuates their errors in interpretation. It is insulting to God that words of rabbis are put on the same level of authority as His written word.
