About Stephen Armes

Stephen Armes is former college history professor. He is a graduate of California State University Fresno, from which he received both his Bachelor of Arts and his Master of Arts degrees in History. He taught for a year at his old alma mater, but the majority of his instruction was at Fresno City College, where he taught Western Civilization and American History.

Professor Armes worked for over 10 years as an Independent Contractor/Writer for Wadsworth-Centage Learning. He wrote, created and designed both web and print learning resources, such as power point study aids, Infotrac, test batteries, instructor manuals and web assets for their college level history texts.

He was recognized in Who’s Who in American Teachers, 2003 Edition.
