Yes however it’s been legislated here in The Peoples Republik Of Kalifornia...
@2peros I don't believe the PRKalifornia "law" is legal - that is to say it cannot create a law that supercedes the Federal code on Immigration. I believe Immigration is strictly (legally speaking) under the purview of the Federal Gov't - The Dept of State more particularly and the Federal Dept of Justice would be duty bound to investigate and to prosecute the wanton and flagrant usurping authority on the part of Kalifornian officials.
The only thing standing in the way of carrying out true justice on the matter is the will to enforce the law on immigration.
