In as much as so many today are addicted to illogical Marxist zero sum, either or, oppressor/oppressed, nonsense, it would be more understandable to simply portray Earth’s history and that of mankind upon it as a perpetual contention between hot and cold.
The natural condition of the universe is one of oppressive cold. Whereas life abounds within the oppressed ‘minutia’ of warmth that happens to exist within it.
What’s even more frightening is a “Net Zero” initiate when all life, including us, are carbon based life forms. Which places humanity in something of an existential quandary considering that leftist contend that we can’t live with carbon when the reality is that we can’t live without it.
Plant life needs carbon to live and humanity needs the oxygen that plants expel to exist.
As for “climate,” there are many factors involved in determining Earth’s climate the least of which may be human existence as proven by an exhaustive examination of Earth’s history when humanity couldn’t have had an affect at all.
Nature is an iteration (repetition) of catastrophes, of one kind or another, with, or without, human influence. Put another way, life is oppressed by nature, but life can’t exist without nature – yet another existential conundrum facing humanity.
