In order to help Canada's government (which has no imagination) understand US attitudes, I believe whenever a group like this (Africans, now??) is picked up on the Mexican border, they should be given a medical exam, food and water and stuff to make sure they are okay, then swiftly transported north to the nearest uncontrolled Canadian checkpoint, pointed north, and let loose. The Canadians' heads will explode, but after a while, they will be enlightened.
And if not, we can solve the problem by simply continuing the practice. Then, both nations will be happy.

From what I remember... It happenned already south of Quebec.
the bigger question is how they got to Mexico from Africa, who brought them here and has done this to further complicate the border crises.

Human smuggling and traficking is a HUGE business these days especially NGOs are facilitating it. Any NGOs involved in human traficking should be barred from involving themselves in the politics of any country. Their assets such as ships involved in this trafick should be seize with Captain and crew jailed and fined. All Illegal immigrants should be deported and never allowed to reapply anywhere. There is a legal process to immigrate to Country follow it or FO.
