How long can it take to read the short 40 verses of 1 Corinthians Chapter 7 and compare them to the stoic life style of the ancient philosophies.? Not long I’d bet.

Then there’s even the minimalist life style to recommend them to one another. Of course that’s assuming that you’ve not been burdened by providence with wealth – if so still look at that burden as just one more challenge in life for you to overcome for tranquility.

Or is it that you cannot reason for yourself the intelligent design of our universe that stumbles you?
It certainly does stumble a great many that choose happenchance over intelligent design – does it not?

All the ancients reasoned the intelligent design of everything, and yet the so called enlightened of our time can’t even do that but profess to know how everyone should live their lives – how can this be?

The Apostle Paul, who penned the letters to the Corinthians, earned his keep, as a minimalist, making tents though having been train otherwise in the law. The livelihoods of all the Apostles could stand a post unto itself, but minimalism was ever present in the background – it should be noted that minimalism not the relativeness of poverty. Even the rich man is a pauper in someones eyes – are they not?

PS. GOD’s natural world dictates that females birth babies and males have the burden of penises. How then can changing such intelligent design be natural?

For the early Stoic philosopher, as for all the post-Aristotelian schools, knowledge and its pursuit are no longer held to be ends in themselves. The Hellenistic Age was a time of transition, and the Stoic philosopher was perhaps its most influential representative. A new culture was in the making. The heritage of an earlier period, with Athens as its intellectual leader, was to continue, but to undergo many changes.
