LINK DeSantis says colleges should pay the price when students default on loans
“If you produce somebody that can't pay it back, that's on you," DeSantis said.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said Thursday that colleges and universities should bear the burden when a student defaults on his or her student loan debt.
It's socially irresponsible for universities to produce more English and "studies" majors than the market can bear.

'turned out to be the worst careerists in history. I always suspected that "activism" was just another expression of hedonism. The pleasure of unearned virtue is just as corrupting as sins of the flesh. Now we see the fruit of activism without commitment to traditional virtues.
The difference between a careerist and someone with a vocation is that someone with a vocation is dedicated to producing something of value for society. Careerists are always asking what is in it for me. Any institution can be exploited for personal gain and our colleges have become part of the bureaucratic "swamp". Things would never have gotten as bad as they are if traditional virtues had not been overturned by shallow "sophistication" and youth culture.
Traditional virtues are as follows.
Chastity or Purity and abstinence as opposed to lust or Luxuria. Temperance or Humanity, equanimity as opposed to Gluttony or Gula. Charity or Will, benevolence, generosity, sacrifice as opposed to Greed or Avaritia. Diligence or Persistence, effortfulness, ethics as opposed to Sloth or Acedia. Patience or Forgiveness, mercy as opposed to Wrath or Ira. Kindness or Satisfaction, compassion as opposed to Envy or Invidia. Humility or Bravery, modesty, reverence as opposed to Pride.
The adolescence that produced the youth culture due to the baby boom was never out grown. Our society is now ran by 70 and older "teenagers" and pointless teenage rebellion against tradition.
