A distinction between ‘socialism’ and ‘communism’ – just why in the world would you?
ANYONE WITH TWO GRAY CELLS TO RUB TOGETHER KNOWS THAT SOCIALISM IS THE STEPPING STONE TO TOTALITARIAN COMMUNISM.
As far as these Marxists are concerned the road to Communism begins with Capitalism then a small step to Socialism and then just one more tiny step to Communism – Totalitarian Communism.
In America we have the famous statement: Give me liberty or give me death.” I would venture to say that the socialist equivalent is: Give me ideological slaves or give me death.
I’d remind anyone that Hitler (a socialist) was perfectly will to see the complete destruction of Berlin and all of Germany considering the German people as having failed his National Socialist cause.
If you want a despot look no farther than socialism – ideological socialism.
You have but one life to live, but to a socialist you have but one life to contribute to the socialist cause.
Show me a socialist country and I’ll show you a despot – it really is that simple.
We now have socialists in the White House working their way to Communism with every Executive Order interfering with the Free Enterprise of Capitalism. To a egotistical Communist Capitalism is but a stepping stone ahead of Socialism on the way to Communism. Communists play the long game – not the straight forward honest one.

Socialism is bad no matter who claims to be in charge or how they got there or what they call themselves. If you have an elite ruling class that has set themselves above the common people you are doing government wrong.

@1914wizard Democracy has been used he world over to setup some of the worst governments, the US was originally set up as a republic where the Constitution as the the law that limited the powers of the government. The Civil War was the transition in this country where the Federal government took over the states, the fed was never supposed to rule over the peoples of the USA only to arbitrate disputes between them and to coordinate the militaries of the states against foreign threats. Once the fed had taken over the states it began to socialize the powers of the new Federal government and removed the liberties of the people through taxes and licencees.
