How can a child know that they’re born in a body that anatomically doesn’t match their gender and/or sexual proclivity if indeed gender and/or sexual proclivity are actually social constructions?
I aim this pointed question primarily at children as they’re the demographic most assuredly under attack in this regard today with all the lefts promotion of gender reassignment medical treatments?
Isn’t there a conflict between these two views? I mean, either a person is born in the wrong body or they’ve actively decided to believe they’re born in the wrong body – which is it?
I don’t see how you can have it both ways – a biological imperative and social construction at the same time – just wondering? As it is my custom to attach a video of some sort, and my intention is to pose this singular question, the video I’ll be attaching this time is a rather lengthy, but very interesting, interview of Professor Peterson – I hope it’ll interest you?
PS. My understanding is that Professor Peterson is something of a TRADCON (Traditional Conservative) that doesn’t exactly agree with MGTOW (Men Going Their Own Way) philosophy of life? But that doesn’t mean that a great deal can’t be gleaned from his postulations none-the-less?

A child is adopted very early in life and at some point they will look in a mirror, and at their parents, and realize they do not look anything alike. Would you say that the child is too young to make such a comparison? Or that they lack sufficient understanding to comprehend the 'differences'? Some children in such a scenario will come to the realization earlier than others, but it happens EARLY.
Comprehending the life perceptions of others that you do not share a context with is very difficult - we should not claim to know 'reality' in such a situation. I argue against the 'anti-free will' people all the time, but reality is how we perceive it. We learn that an objective perception is most likely the correct one. Gender and sexuality are not social constructs. Roles certainly are - TO A DEGREE. The have a foundation in those biological realities: people are not always born heterosexual and gender congruent.

I could reply that that's why we have both mothers and fathers as much as that's objected to. But taking your scenario in hand, don't you think that social construction took hold when said child decided to align themselves with people they feel they look like?
