2208070300Su IS EVERYTHING ‘ARBITRARY’ THESE DAYS?

I lifted the following description from Yahoo’s search engine today – actually had to look see where I was getting it from. I can’t help but notice the deceptive discrepancies coming from ‘search engines’ (if that indeed is what they’re called now-days)? No references were cited for the below clip I lifted – shouldn’t there have been an authority cited for such a statement? Without citation this is nothing more than Yahoo’s opinion – is it not?

I mean, when it comes to definitions, an ‘Oxford Dictionary’ citation is good enough for me – generally speaking that is? Even there I might take a jump back if the definition is outright blatantly spurious.

The two words (there likely are many more not cited herein) that have set me back on my heels of late are: ‘populism’ and ‘libertarian-ism’ – both inclined towards political persuasion? Both being cast in as bad a light as possible where ever I encounter them – why is that? I mean, is it all that easy to malign what this country was founded upon – how da do dat?

It’s so very obvious that The United States was founded by ‘libertarian populists.’ Below I cite the definitions for both words which perfectly describe our founders – do they not?

Another thing I note is the conspicuous absence of the check(s) our founders placed on populism to assure the fair treatment of any citizens finding themselves the minority constituency? If the Constitution along with The Supreme Court weren’t established it would be true that The United States is just one more dystopian enterprise by failed humanity? But those checks on democratic mob rule to protect interests of the minority are in place – socialists just don’t want that to be so!

Libertarian populism ARE NOT dirty words – as socialist would like for you to believe! Students really do need to look past their socialist professor’s lies and see what’s being hidden from you behind the curtain? That’s where they hide the founding documents of this country?

PS. A socialist is a person that’ll tell you you’ll need to buy something in order to find out what’s in the fine print – in other words, you’ll need to pass a bill to learn what’s in the bill. Where have you heard that before? A socialist is the person that insists we need to redistribute wealth – JUST NOT THEIR WEALTH?
