It doesn’t even matter that using fossil fuels creates plant food free of charge as a natural by-product of its use? No, we can’t be having any of that rational thinking in this postmodern era, someone might accuse us of being exceptional – stop it, we can’t be having that?
Since the modern era began with the golden age of Greek Civilization, we should probably look to a time before that for our inspiration on how to proceed in this post-modern society – what say you? But wait, slavery was in vogue then and all time before? How is that since white European were mere ignorant peasants without influence at-all? Ah, I see, postmodernism is a return to peasantry for the masses leaving the heavy brain work to the socialist elites – they’ll take care of us? Everything is the fault of those Europeans – if they just weren’t so conscientious going round heaping human dignity & rights on everybody thing would be great? If it weren’t for those pesky Europeans everyone would be living in an Euell Gibbons Utopia by now!
