@Lightman We see the world in very different ways. You believe that those keeping the secrets are sane. I believe the world is insane You and I included. So someone comes up with a plan to reduce the world population. They plot! They carry out said plan! If it was public knowledge would it work?
And as far as offending peoples beliefs, depends on the person and the topic.
