I know JOE is older than I am, (now that is old) , but the Mid 20th century I remember does seem to be the same one JOE remembers!!!
When I grew up in the Mid 20th century, MOTHERS stayed home with the kids, a least until the older ones could care for their siblings!!!
Sure the standard of living did not have all the bells and whistles of today, but we knew how to entertain ourselves!!!
JOE needs to re-watch some of the early "Leave It To Beaver" shows again!!!!
That MIGHT jog his memory!!!!!
