Were the women enacting behaviors for which others have been dispersed, detained, levied fines against? We're they violating Covid restrictions? Creating a public nuisance in any way that others have been confronted for?

Yeah infinite like politicians and police go on television and say there never an excuse.to hit a lady. But police don't without impunity.
The protesters did nothing wrong. The UK police however is in deep doo doo and has been for years. Corrupt to the core.
