It's a lot like adopting the latest fashion. It is so deep rooted an instinct that it can be seen in the choreographed movement of fish in a school. An instinct that can easily be turned against them. That it is a trap can be seen in how top predators drive schools into tighter and tighter balls making escape impossible. Right now the we are being squeezed into mindless conformity so the predator class can consume us. Some of them like Jack Dorsey just enjoy seeing how we can be manipulated. The less intelligent like Joe Biden are just useful idiots who have fallen into the trap of influence peddling. It is the age old technic of offering seemingly harmless trinkets of bribery escalating the scale until they have no way out.
Joe Biden is a weak man, it is a character flaw perfectly designed for exploitation in a society that is sensual, self indulgently empathetic, steeped in Luxus, obsessed with security, and ethically rudderless.
The image of the strong man dictator is often misleading. Hitler was an artist, loved animals, almost the originator of new age religiosity, avoid being involved personally in any of the unpleasantness of Nazi atrocities, worried about the psychological effects that the final solution would have on his troops, emotionally volatile, believed strongly in intuition, childless, flirted with socialism, manipulative, and intentionally irrational. In other words he had very few toxic masculine traits. In many way he was the modern Nero.
Being lead by soft leaders is a sign of civilizational decline. It's what you see when a civilization becomes too tired to reproduce itself. When it questions it's foundational principles because they are too hard for soft people accustomed to being cared for by the work of previous generations.
