This is an exercise in control. This is all about making an example of someone who disobeys. It has nothing to do with a breach of law.
The police carrying out this action must know that they are being used to intimidate the public.
The German troops who used the excuse of following orders in regard to the war-crimes they were party to during WW11 were held responsible for their actions because they knew they were committing crimes against humanity.
The police have to know that those in charge will require them to take more and more extreme actions to enforce control of the citizens of Australia.
Beyond this line comes disappearing people? Suiciding people? Internment camps?
So the police have a decision? Follow orders? To become the new Stari or follow law and be police?
