#Twitter ignoring their own TOS (and the law?) for partisan reasons? What's new?

Bootlicker- This term is overused online as well as "obey the law", and others implying police are always in the right regardless of what the details of the cases or that the victims of these cases are always innocent. It's literally not so black and white.

Actual cases aren't that simple.Trial by social media is inevitable. People often use platforms to discuss their opinions and speculations. That actually doesn't bother me personally until said platforms make censoring double standards between two opposing opinions.

Jake Gardner, Kyle Rittenhouse, and Nick Sandman were three unique cases with different circumstances surrounding them. They were defamed and deplatformed all the same and labeled "guilty". George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Jacob Blake were three unique cases as well. Yet, all were given the same status of "innocence" online.

Trial by MSM is when it begins to get bad imo. There is a certain amount of trust many have that MSM reports facts and not opinions. That news should be trusted. I no longer have such faith. I would imagine there are a lot of people who still do, though.

The very worst of this spread of opinions and speculations comes from politicians who use it for their own personal gain. This is something I've seen both parties do one way or another. Currently, I'm unnerved with the way the Biden/ Harris is treating our current civil unrest.

Tim Pool sounds a bit frantic lately. I realize it's crazy right now, and important to have an abundance of caution, but what's happening out on the streets should require attention rather than project panic.

I've been thinking a lot about the misquote MSM uses from Trump. In it's entirety he basically says, other than the extremists who should be condemned we have good people on both sides. MSM may have missed their opportunity to unite sides years ago. It's pretty sad.
