Ever seen the chick flick "The Notebook?" Pure drama porn? You know what makes it SO HOT?... It's not so much "the Ryan Gosling," (although it doesn't hurt,) but it's that the man joins the woman into her sweet romance passionate la-la land. Emotions are what determine the importance you give yo something, everything. And women are always exaggerating because they are inherently more emotional. However, let's think about it. Are we in some kind of Culture War? Well, I think most of us would agree "yes," but lots of people would say we are insane. They may be blah blah blah, point being: no situation or phenomenon is objective. It depends on the perception of people. Women want passionate crazy love lives. So when she is kinda feeling the vibe that she is living the time of her life, but suddenly some nasty hoe comes around to steal her Prince Charming, and she starts having a Charlie's Angels (2000, bitch please) style fight scene with her--If you suddenly start crumbling down her narrative by waking her up from her epic romance movie and bringing her back down to Earth, by going: "Geez, she was just being friendly, stop being so dramatic. You should control your emotions. You look like an insane person amongst us civil society.... Well, that's the equivalent of her going "I wonder if there might be a way to implement the three shells technology towards menstrual higiene" as you are (or think you are) fucking the shit out of her. Get it, stud? A woman's mind can (and would) make an unreplaceable hero out of your sorry ass, if only you let her and stop being such a realistic asshole. But if you think you can beat her delirious' version of you by taking steroids, studying full time, while you work out all day and work for that dough all day every day (yes, I realize it's impossible, but hey, her Prince Charming she made out of you can do it in her mind,) well, then by all means. Give it a try.

What does it have to do with the Culture War? It's the same thing, except that they will kill you off when they win just because you refused to look silly by playing your part in their delirious war game. Power is the ability to persuade opinions in your favor, and there's nothing more persuasive than being involved in a narrative by your emotional imagination. You are underestimating the power of feelings. But just because you think they are worthless, that doesn't mean they won't be able to make other people extremely happy and satisfied of going after your pretty neck.
