Wait, lesbians refusing to date guys is just "following their true nature" they why can't guys refusing to date "women" with Adam's apples or penises or without a manufactured vagina just be considered us following our nature?

@Don_Provolone thank ya, thank ya very much

I guess I'm a full blown dehumanizer...no way in hell would I be seen with one let alone date one

Actually people are dehumanizing themselves by trying to glorify and normalize the abnormal lifestyles they are choosing to lead. They can be whatever they want without shoving it down everyone's throat. They have all the tolerance and protections they need, now it's time for them to take their foot off the accelerator. Here's a couple facts, if you are a normal guy and you like women, you probably won't settle for a repurposed Male. Or if you are a normal woman that likes men, you probably won't settle for a repurposed female. No one should be made to feel bad about that. You expect the world to accept your mixed up sexuality no matter what. Sorry but it doesn't work that way.

I'm a tad bent, and often come at stories like this with a fairly open mind, but the survey as designed is stupid. Any meaningful study of this topic needs to be a long term ongoing study of the life progress of a large sample of individuals representing a variety of lifestyles and identifications.

Surveys asking what if have no basis in reality a provide no data from which future analysis might be conducted. The focus on theory and surveys and total no regard for designing and attempting reproducible verifiable or falsifiable research is maddening.

@Don_Provolone I have no argument on behalf of such a position, and can't even really consider the idea. I don't even credit the terminology.

@Don_Provolone I'll stop in again when I'm not on my phone.

@Don_Provolone What I was saying is a survey asking "what-if" doesn't mean anything. It's a single point measure of perception, maybe, but not a measure of any behavior. The survey might become meaningful if all of the participants are tracked and re-questioned periodically to see how attitudes change over time within a group. If the survey was among an age group (18-20), and was repeated every few years among the same age group (new 18-20) you might find attitude shifting as young people grow up in a changing social environment.

A behavior study might be done if you track several groups over time and actually look at the real dating choices. Some who say they wouldn't but live where trans is X%, Y% or Z% of population. Does behavior change over time are with greater social association? Does perception and attitudes vary by exposure, by sex, by age, by divorce, by whether or not someone already had children and no longer has evolution driving as strongly at their choices? Serious studies might tell something over time, but the survey standing alone doesn't do anything but provide an excuse to write an article calling normal people selfish for not dating the under-privileged weirdo.
