Russians are a mix of N. Europeans (Vikings - Rus) and slavs. What is white? I don't see anyone paler than I am that isn't an albino.

The easy availability of DNA tests has shed some light on the descendants of the biblical Israelites. Those who conducted the tests obtained their DNA test samples from ancient bones from graves in the area of the Levant that the ancient Israelites inhabited.
Their tests showed that those who carried the most DNA from that area are the Jews of Yemin. They ran somewhere around a 10% match with the ancient DNA from the Levant.
The Ashkenazi typically matched up with less that 5% of the DNA from the Levant.

I've always believed the Jews are actually Khazars. There's very few if any actual Hebrews around. Very few Jews even show any Middle-Eastern ancestry at all.
I laugh at the term "anti-Semite." What's a Semite? A descendant of Shem, one of Noah's sons. I don't believe in that any more than I believe in the "Pecosians." Yeah, the Pecosians... you know, all the descendants of Pecos Bill.
Semite is a language group. Jews are not genetically unique. They're a mish-mash of European and near-eastern. Mostly European.
