On the other hand, I care who LOSES ... Hopefully that’s Occasional Cortex.
Being where the District is ... its probable she won’t “lose” simply because people by now have heard her name. They’d select Madonna or Lady GaGa over her if they ran because ... well, they heard those names more often.
Unless, enough people remember she screwed them out of LOTS of jobs.
The way the selection process is set up in the booth, if you go in and look at the names ... most of the names mean no more to you than “Jane Doe” ... actually even less ... so the only way she’s likely to “lose” is by people “Voting AGAINST” her ...
You know ... “Ummmm I dunno ... ANYBODY except THAT Piece of ...!!! Eenie Meenie Minee ...”

It is, after all, NYC...so, most likely AOC will keep her seat. I would love to see her dethroned, and some sense of normality brought back to her district. Unfortunately, even if her opponent wins, I doubt there would be much change. She will naturally align herself with the likes of Pelosi, Waters and Biden.

Its not NYC (ie. Manhattan) ... its a chunk of Queens and the Bronx

Hard to tell. Having voted in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens over time, I was never really able to figure out what/who people were voting for or even why.
Sometimes I think it was strictly a name recognition decision but AOC has done quite a bit of damage to “her” people ...
I think people will remember that.
Still, I wouldn’t want to try to say that those people voted with any rational thought process I was ever able to figure out over 28 years ...

Okay ... so this morning’s “the Hill Morning Report” did NOT mention AOC in ANY context ... although it did mention a couple other NY-Metro “races”.
I think the Silence is Deafening since the Hill usually would have offered all sorts of coverage for ANY Democrat in a tough situation ... ESPECIALLY AOC ... if there was any “Good News”.
I’m still not predicting but the lack of news seems pretty indicative.
@Bay0Wulf that is interesting. I cannot imagine "The Hill" not having her plastered in complimentary, slanted, articles EVERYWHERE.
