My father is an old school Republican and isn't down with a lot of the stuff they push. He believes in a small government. Now the so called right are for all this bloat.

The ridiculous thing is that it's not as if this endless move to the Left is winning the Republicans any converts. I have never seen anyone say they're going elephant now because of some CONservative CONcession.
I am reminded of the late Lawrence Auster and his concept of the Hegelian Mambo - the CONservative dance.
