The overwhelming majority of corporations that engage in "Green" initiatives, do so to create a win for them economically in the short term , which mostly negates true positive environmental impacts because it sacrifices the sacrifice that is needed for a positive win. It should be an expectation that we should be good stewards of that which we are blessed with.
