Yes you are right. But that last one is from the omnivore line. Not the vegan... And... May I underline tha the omnivore line was the line that the brain started to expand by the addition of meat in he diet. 
OK, but to insulate that they went extinct because they were herbivore is a bit disingenuous. There are plenty of herbivores in the world that prove that it's NOT a evolutionary dead end.
@Judah80 Let me make it simple for you... What is the bigest most valuable tool of homo Sapiens ?? His brain... How did the brain started to grow ?? when men stared to eat meat... What did help Homo habilis Neanderetal and home sapiens to become the most succesful hominides ever.
Got it. But that doesn't explain why they all went extinct. Fact is, we don't know why. To insinuate it was because they were herbivores is disingenuous is all I'm saying. Brain size explains the success of some but not the extinction of others.
@Judah80 I have many explanation for you. If you don't reproduce like a bunny rabbit when you are a a herbivore... You go extinct. If tthe type of salad do stop to grow because of climate change and you are not smart enough to eat somehing else you go extinct. the species that did succeed for the longest time ate meat and travelled out of africa to try other type of meat 
Those are all great theories, but that's all they.
