At best, this is the future of the EU!

Yeah.. After many climate research...for that period of time.... there would have been a mini ice age. Which would have pushed all those migrations of the Huns the Goth the visigoth the german than Frank etc etc south right in conflict with the Romans. That would have pushed a domino effect for the production in the east of the Empire. It could not sustain itself. I dunno if it's true but it would make some sense.
