Having taken a few days to deal with friends, family, farm and the final gasps of a school year, I have returned to the IDW. To my dismay I have found what can best be described as the aftermath of a verbal cockfight. Bloody feathers, bits of beaks and more bloody feathers. It would seem that things have settled down. A few feathers still ruffled but not stained with vital fluids.
I am at a loss as to exactly what has transpired. I have found the deleted areas. Not the content but the statement of it's deletion. I must assume in this level above myself and many others there is some "tension". I find it all sort of sad but also mildly irritating.
Sunlight is the best disinfectant. We should get a detailed statement on what transpired. What was deleted, by whom and the reasoning as to why. My experience here has been mostly positive and unhindered. Which is why I am curious as to the particulars. Of coarse the Admin has no obligation to explain squat but it would be gesture of grand good faith, transparency and maturity.
If anyone has insights....do share!

Admin made a post to the matter in IDW congress I believe that's the group if not the announcement group

If I am left to ask questions about an event to which I am ignorant of details, unable to view the particular exchanges, unaware of the actions taken and barred from the exchanges leading to the actions being taken.....well....then I am left at the mercy of those that have already decided what "concerns me" and what "concerns me" will be the fruit of my inquiry. I stand by my initial post.....

This would be the operative phrase from my initial post. " WE should get a detailed statement on what transpired." This is not so much a point of personal curiosity as effort to spur a clearing of the air for the benefit of all users and the Admin. Senate and such. Now back in the day I did work in a news room for three years. If I were to start asking questions I would start with other members in the 7 and above club. From there form questions with known answers. Rookies start in the dark and never get out of it.
However i have no interest in playing investigative reporter. The money sucks. I have opened the common window and the sunshine is welcome.
