LINK Anti-Israel Protesters Expected To Target Tour de France
Anti-Israel protesters are reportedly expected to target the Tour de France after the wife of Chris Froome, a former champion, shared her opinion on Gazans and Hamas in a since-deleted post on social media.
Froome rides for the Israel-Premier Tech team, and with the company being based in Israel, it already made him and his team a target for backlash from pro-Palestinian protesters. His wife, Michelle, took to X and shared three posts voicing her support for Israel amid the terrors taking place in the region.
"I'm sick of sitting idly by quietly supporting Israel while the Hamas propaganda takes over social media," she wrote in a now-deleted post, according to the Daily Mail. "Take the blindfolds off and see the reality of the hatred they are spreading. There are no innocent Gazans," she continued in another post.
Michelle also wrote, "Muslims are no longer the minority they claim to be. They are here to take over."
