LINK NYC Cops Arrest Homeowner For Kicking Squatters Out Of Her Home
A homeowner in Queens was reportedly detained for allegedly trying to kick squatters out of her own home.Video shows Adele Andaloro approaching squatters at her $1 million home in Flushing, which she inherited after her parents died, after hiring a locksmith to change the locks back on her property, ABC 7’s Eyewitness News reported. Police took Andaloro into custody soon after they were called by the squatters.

As TPool said, "back the Blue" is nonsense when coppers do this sort of stuff.
Anyone with a house not constantly occupied needs to have someone regularly go by to kick out criminals. This NYC "taking" involved criminals getting into the house and staying there only two days.
Have a copy of the deed readily available. Not just a bill, any criminal can forge one of those, the deed. If you go away on vacation this can happen.
