LINK Harvard offers course "Taylor Swift and Her World" that will discuss her celebrity relationships
Harvard English professor Stephanie Burt, a man who identifies as a woman, explained that the once prestigious school will offer a course surrounding pop star Taylor Swift.
Burt explained to TMZ Live that while there will be an emphasis on Swift's music as art, the course material will also include the musician's relationships as they pertain to lyrics and songs she has released.
"She writes about her relationships, so we will be talking about her relationships. So we will be talking about Travis Kelce," Burt said of Swift's alleged boyfriend, who is in the NFL.
"The amount of time that we give him and therefore that we give American football is going to depend honestly on whether she has written and released songs about him and about that relationship."
This is what I mean when I say university English departments are a joke.
