When male human sexual desire becomes oppressive to female humans the extinction of of the human species can’t be too far behind. Female humans have enjoyed a free ride to date based solely on the male human libido. There can be no exchange of positions as was Lilith’s desire as Adam’s first wife who wanted to be on top according to Jewish mythology.
In other words, if GOD hadn’t created Adam’s second wife Eve the human species wouldn’t exist. Male libido has got to exist if for no other reason than to cause him to desire sexual relations with female humans. It is virtually the same order of reproduction set out through all of nature.
MGTOW (Men Going Their Own Way) is about no longer being a slave to the biological urge to reproduce that has provided female humans such a free ride throughout history. Now that the Earth is populated there no longer need be this male compulsion to procreate with unwilling female humans.
It’s just as well that marriage & birth rates have fallen off a cliff resulting in less divorce rates as well.
A great problem comes to the front by people thinking that women are the only game in town therefore men will be forced to play the feminist game. While it is true that feminism controls the only heterosexual game in town, it is not true that heterosexual men have got to play it with them. MGTOW (Men Going Their Own Way) is about not playing at all. In fact, I’ve never met a man that said he was trying to impregnate any female human – it’s just not in man. And that’s why hormonal encouragements was and is required to influence male humans to exchange body fluids with female humans. Men have sex for enjoyment – not expressly to procreate.
Nature oppresses female humans not male humans. If anyone is oppressing anyone it’s female humans that have oppressed male humans throughout history.

There is a considerable burden associated with pregnancy and nursing. I have never known a female that in some way didn't resent being female. I have never known a male that at some level who wasn't indifferent to the burden of being female.
There is a lot of confusion over human nature. All the evidence points to the natural inclinations of humans being at odds with civilized behavior. Part of civilized behavior is marriage. A kind of two party corporation. There is absolutely zero evidence that humans are naturally monogamous. Anymore than there is that humans are born to meet any other aspect of the requirements of civilization.
Gender is a social construct that evolved over time in the civilized state to meet the needs of civilization that are at odds with our instincts. Left to their own devices and given the opportunity most females would prefer to have at most 2 to 3 children. Males left to their own devices and given the opportunity will make as many females pregnant as often as they can. Civilization is at odds with both predilections. For most of human history 2 or 3 pregnancies would fall well below population replacement levels. A civilization without reproduction will go extinct. A patriarchy assures that will not happen. The patriarchy satisfies one of the males greatest problems which is paternal uncertainty through marriage. It keeps all the other males away from their females. Females left to their own devices would only become pregnant by high status males. Marriage broadens access to females reducing social tensions. The artificial construct of gender makes this arrangement more palatable for females. There are built in compensations for females in the civilized state to induce females to forgo the biological advantages of mating with high status males.
Marriage has broken down because the civilized patriarchy has broken down. Marriage never represented the natural inclinations of males or females. Most of the blame falls on the patriarchy itself. It failed to realize how increasing affluence would weaken the advantages of marriage at the individual level. As soon as females had sufficient means of support to dispose of sexually demanding males of low social status they did. Today 20 percent of males are having most of the sex. Archaic laws meant to compensate females for the burden of marriage remain in place despite them being out of touch with the new reality. Females have gotten the freedom they always desired but without the responsibility of maintaining civilization. Jungle sexual proclivities dominate behavior. Low status males group together while high status males laugh at them. Males of sufficient socioeconomic status have no shortage of females. The archaic laws are of no consequence for them because they have the economic means to be unbothered by them.
The story of marriage just reflects the overall social reality that the working class is in decline.
Almost everyone invested in the establishment including professional and white collar workers are against Trump. The wrecking of the US industrial base has been profitable for them. Exporting slave labor and pollution to China as well as importing cheap labor has been an economic boom for almost everyone but the working class. The new norm is a large administrative state in league with commercial interest focused more on international concerns than the people. Trump wanted to reverse that process and return to liberal democracy. Everyone that benefited from the system was opposed to him. That includes those reduced to bread and circuses the system pays for.
Keep in mind that the working class itself is partially to blame. Like everyone else they abandoned traditional moral values. They unwittingly exchanged the burden of marriage for a new kind of peasant condition where they own nothing. It turns out that marriage was an important means by which the peasants could avoid poverty as long as the old industrial system remained in place.
