Gotta say this little meme represents everything I detest about woke progressives:
— Unsolicited advice, and the assumption we need their advice
— Uninvited judgment about personal lifestyle
— Directives on how to behave and what action is appropriate
Brainless, scolding progressives are completely blind to the massive amount of prejudice, judgment, bias they continuously push out into the universe. And the fact that they’re just annoying.

Very true, religious conservatives have the same holier than thou attitude. In terms of reach and influence, however, Christian conservatives are no where near the woke left, who own the culture, the media, the academy, the corporate sector and the minds of the young.
The other religious conservatives, radical Islamicists, have a massive reach, but rely on bullets, bombs and militias.
I liked that meme because I hate the consumerist mind set and how advertisers abuse that with constant sales, Christmas abuse etc.

The declaration to “do as you wish” — which you will never hear from a woke leftist — makes all the difference. The point of the post wasn’t to defend nor promote consumerism, but rather an expression of my irritation with self-righteous do-gooders who think they know what’s best for me.
The young AOC fans busily destroying free markets as they entrench socialist thinking and practice in America are blissfully unaware of 20th Century Eastern European line ups for rotten potatoes. Someday their grandchildren will hear whispered stories of Costco and Amazon as they huddle, starving under thin blankets.
