The hard left profoundly hate the name “British Columbia”, based on both the British Empire (evil), and Christopher Columbus, the explorer who helped usher in the modern era, but has been reimagined as a genocidal rapist. So it comes as no surprise that the move to rename the west coast province — to protect people from Canada’s “horrible, colonial” past — is back in the news.
There hasn't been a National reckoning by any stretch of the imagination. What there has been is a political globalist technocratic coup that's been perpetrated on our government using a propagandized media along with a cultural marxist activist judiciary to disabuse us of our rights and a mob to beat the citizenry into submission should they dare to bring up their Constitutional/Charter rights in the US and Canada. So lett's get the fk'n story straight.
What's in a name seems appropriate.
If you use a "first nations" name and they actual had a history you would find genocide or other atrocities in that history but they don't have a recorded history. That is the real problem here. The archeological evidence doesn't match the current narrative.
What we are dealing with is a soft form of bigotry. Why are Westerners held to a higher standard? Are non Westerners not morally culpable due to some sort of incompetence?
