- The political Left is convinced they are more intelligent than you. About everything.
- They are convinced that they are more moral than you. About everything.
- They are convinced that they are more sophisticated and nuanced than you. About everything.
The reason they don't want to hear from you or have a discussion with you is because - to them - you have nothing of interest to say. Nothing of any substance or moral fiber. They don't even feel the need to explain themselves or defend their ideas because they've already discussed them internally and you simply have nothing important to bring to their conversation.
It is elitism in its purest form; they all agree that the Emperor's new robe is splendid.
