Perception is everything. It's how MSM has influenced public opinions on Trump and Democrats. It's how educators have redefined our history and race. Especially in a social media addicted world, we've been fed non stop extremist views of each parties side. It's why the younger generations are even more likely to participate in extremist movements.
One sided views are promoted. Opposing views are not shown in an unbiased manner, and condemned. Everything from news, views, entertainment, sports, and even nonsensical hobbies like video games are split down the middle. It's gotten so bad I'm afraid of naming my favorite food.
I'm unsure how much is perception and how much is real. I do know that this isn't the fault of a bluntly worded president. I place blame on the MSM for sowing seeds of fear. Their hell bent vendetta of framing Trump the most evil man to exist is having real life consequences. If they truly held the public's best interest at heart, they would be avocating peace and not throwing gas on the fire.
