Rae’Lee Klein, a 21 year old journalism major at Arizona State University and manager of the school’s radio station took her job too seriously. And she learned a valuable lesson about the sorry state of the career she thought she was preparing for.
She read a New York Post article about the facts behind the Jacob Blake case, realized there was a lot that she hadn’t been aware of—like allegations of violent sexual assault, violating the victim’s restraining order, and resisting arrest when the police were called. Gosh, you know... like, the rest of the story.
She tweeted about it and was told she was being insensitive. Then she was fired. Get with the program, Toots. It’s all the news that fits the agenda.
