Modern music was started in Tin Pan Alley in the ghettos of NY where some quite clever dreamed up the format of one cheap garbage song about love closely followed by another about breaking up followed by another about love etc. etc. etc. was a real money maker and could be used to form culture. Worked wonders eh? It was said that the cheap garbage music sounded like tin pans being banged together. Today it sounds like screeching dying monkeys.

Fair use of known song is fair use.... these are 60 50 40 years old songs that you put back on the table to new generation,,, To advertise them again should be a good thing..instead. of puttiing them on a shelve... right ? Anyway..... No body should own do re mi fa sol la si do... And all the # and bemols in between... And those songs are made of these
Fair use is fine use them. As to the artist and record company that still have the rights its there call on how there property is used or not
