Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I love how we have reached a point where any tweet or statement of any kind aimed at someone is now called "destroys" "annihilates" etc. as long as you support the speaker.
The hyperboles are meant to be used for rare occasions not as a replacement for everything. lol Normalizing hyperboles makes it meaningless. But I noticed that with modern American pop culture, language has been reduced to about 500 words and just repeated ad nauseam.
I'm tempted to ask for mailing address of these commentators, so I can mail them so Shakespeare or something. Come on people, a bit of imagination please, before you totally "annihilate" what little English words still survives in America's public discourse.

We American's who can hardly speak our own language, and make sense. And most certainly will not learn another language, you are lucky to get 500 out of us. Huh! Or, Oh Yeah? do just fine in a lot of circumstances......
@Machiavelliwar Hehe. My father like to learn new languages. He said to me once, if you learn the most common 500 words of a new language you can read almost anything in the newspapers, because that is what most people read/understand. So the news editors make sure the number of new words over that limit is very well, limited in order to retain the readership and has the widest circulation. My father said that to me over 10 years ago.
These days with internet and especially twitter the English language takes a heavy beating. But I guess that is the brave new world we live in.
