Bill Nye's 50 genders and the vagina dance had all the trappings of an SNL skit but--no--it was real. The idea that plastic surgery can turn you into another sex is yet another failure of the sciences to bow down to politics and social pressure versus looking for etiology or even a true alternative therapy beside surgery and changing laws. We are in an age of ANTI science.
Besides they don't mean actual "science". Its computer sciences that they want to shove you into despite what you gravitate to or enjoy.
Deficit of people of color in STEM is as ridiculous as a deficit of women in STEM. My grades in school made every single teacher try to push me into a STEM career that I never wanted. It was this hardcore sell on the women and minorities to go into the sciences regardless of whether or not we liked the law, writing, education, etc.

Just to add to your comment.... Have you ever heard of Piltdown man ?? [en.wikipedia.org] That's the danger of science authority. I'm not saying that science is bad... I'm saying...Scientist are human will all the human faults too. Just take this debate for example [en.wikipedia.org]... And also the flat earthers that you mentions. ... When it becomes about ego , religion and self interests... It becomes flawed.
Professors and PhD candidates in fields such as anthropology in USF are also “going on strike” to “protest racism”. Such cringe. It’s like a contagion that has spread into minds all across the globe, like the birth of an ugly hive mind. It’s kinda creepy, what’s happening everywhere.
