Can someone explain why our leaders are going from being hopping man about China and saying how bad it is that we had all our manufacturing there to instantly calling for it all to do to India?
We know that it's a terrible idea to havw your important industries in other coutries and if we didn't we fucking should now after this Covid shit. Plus we have like 45 million unemployed that would love lower skill higher pay manufacturing jobs.
Why are you voting in people that want to knowingly harm you and you furture economic and logistic stability? They only deserve brass for acting this way.

I don't know, why did poor white Southerners fight for slavery?
The West has been exporting pollution and slave labor to China for decades. Perhaps the lower working class in the West would rather be poor than slaves. I think this is especially true in Europe where the soul crushing effects of the welfare state is more advanced than in the U.S.
The motto for low end workers in the West is they pretend to pay us and we pretend to work. We have even imported labor through illegal immigration to do most of the dirty jobs and increasingly medicine and engineering. It is amazing what bread and circus will buy politicians.

I think that AI factories capable of producing almost unlimited novel products, new farming practices and new building technology could bring back the "city state".
Genetic differences between people, I don't mean race, are making it hard for us to live with each other. Some people are predisposed to take risks and prefer freedom over security and vice versa.
The failed experiment of the United Nations makes me question is mutual defense would be possible.
Send manufacturing to India?! Great idea! Once the west is completely dead, it can be rebuilt into a medieval serf/noble state, ruled by unaccountable technocratic fascists! This leaves the entire planet to be exploited for power and profit, with zero interference from the great unwashed masses...
