@JVIP-WTPNN. We already have an institutionalized welfare state, with several generations now of families who have never worked, and no examples within those families of how to work. The Federal government is the worst possible and most unaccountable way to provide assistance to those in need. Local charities always were the most value delivered per dollar, and the most accountable, until our left-leaning policies drove that first to the states, and now to the Feds. History will record us as imbeciles for doing so.

@JVIP-WTPNN. I didn't say otherwise. I'm glad you are receiving disability. If you are a vet, you surely deserve any assistance the Feds give you. If not, your state is the Constitutionally mandated resource - except where that has been un-Constitutionally effected. That still is better off for you and everyone when it is done locally.
