On a lighter note, to get people's minds off of this COVID-19 thing for a few minutes. If there is such a thing as someone with the voice of an angel, I do believe I've discovered her. Alan Dawa Dolma (the name means "Heavenly Maiden of the Moon" in Tibetan, and while she's based in China, she is Tibetan, ethnically speaking) has the kind of voice that will stop time and bring tears to the eyes of many. This is not an excuse for some of you to bash China or Chinese people, but a moment to appreciate a level of expression in singing that is simply unreal. Hope you all enjoy!

This is an Excellent Piece and very well performed.

However, not to detract from her, I have long listened to and collected Chinese, Japanese and several other Asian musics and the female vocals tend to be spectacular. While she is Very Good, her voice is more typical than unusual.

@MaskedRiderChris
I’ll try to put something comprehensible together for you. Since I got much of it from my girlfriends (chinese & japanese) most of it is written or labeled in those languages ... also I have become inexplicably busy as my business is not (negatively) affected by the virus ...

She is talented - no argument there. But since you mentioned angelic female voices I could not resist sharing this.
For anyone who would like to know the words in Latin and translated into English here it is:

Benedictus
Laudate Dominum omnes gentes

Praise him, all the people
Laudate eum, omnes populi
Because confirmed
Quoniam confirmata est

His mercy upon us
Super nos misericordia eius

The truth is, the truth of remains, remains forever
Et veritas, veritas Domini manet, manet in aeternum
Father and son
Gloria Patri et Filio

And Holy
Et Spiritui Sancto

As it was in the beginning
Sicut erat in principio

Now and always
Et nunc, et semper

And forever
Et in saecula saeculorum

Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen
Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen

Love the ethereal sounds that Chinese music and Artists achieve , Great performance, And thanks for sharing

I even made a Ehru for my daughter, She never truly mastered it, in spite a being a concert violinist - Which speaks volumes for those who have mastered these ancient instruments

China has so much going for it, Imagine what I could be if it ever embraced freedom, and open government
