I think there are other factors to consider regarding the President getting re-elected or not.

Trump's Covid-19 response will make or break his 2020 reelection bid...

The economic implications of the virus are most concerning of all, and require a level of seriousness from the White House that was missing for much of last week.

A week ago, Tucker Carlson warned that the outbreak of the novel coronavirus that originated in Wuhan, China in 2019, COVID-19, could put Bernie Sanders in the White House. Carlson is right. President Trump’s response to COVID-19, rhetorical and actual, will make or break his presidency.

As the markets were panicking over the virus, Trump claimed the media and Democrats were overblowing the virus to hurt him politically: “Low Ratings Fake News MSDNC (Comcast) & CNN are doing everything possible to make the Caronavirus (sic) look as bad as possible, including panicking markets, if possible,” wrote the president on Twitter.

Are you sure COVID-19 is a critical election issue? First time in history it wouldn't be economics. And the hysteria will soon dissipate when people realize it is less deadly than SARS, which we survived just fine. The media sells advertising by whipping up panic, as always, in the tradition of Randolph Hearst. That only works temporarily.

@MaskedRiderChris Exactly their mentality. Lockstep and mindlessly reactive. Media loves that. Big advertising bucks in all of that. And the mindless have no interest at all in waking up.
